Does the Masaniello method guarantee profits?
No. It only calculates how much to stake. If your real win rate is below break-even (53.76% with an 86 % payout), you will lose money in the long run with any setup. We explain it in how to choose the parameters.
What do ITM and OTM mean?
ITM (in the money) is a winning trade and OTM (out of the money) a losing one. The terms come from binary options; in betting they mean a won and a lost bet.
Why does the stake go up after a loss?
Because fewer trades are left to reach the target. After a win the opposite happens: the stake goes down because you are closer. That way any order of wins leads to the same final balance.
What happens if I lose more trades than allowed?
The cycle is lost, and with it all its capital. That is why the cycle capital should be only part of your balance.
Can I use it for sports betting?
Yes, as long as your odds are similar to each other. Convert the odds to payout: decimal odds of 1.86 equal an 86 % payout.
What if the broker pays a different percentage on each trade?
The calculator assumes the same payout for the whole cycle. If it varies a lot the stakes will not be exact; use the lowest payout you expect to stay on the safe side.
Can I fix a wrongly marked result?
Yes. In the history change the result with the W/L buttons or delete the trade; everything after it is recalculated.
Where are my sessions stored?
Only in your browser. There are no accounts and no server, so nobody else can see them, but they do not sync between devices either. If you clear your browser data, they are lost.
How much should I risk per cycle?
An amount you can lose entirely without affecting your finances, and only part of your total balance. This tool is not financial advice.
Why is the target for 10 trades and 4 ITM $113.26?
It is the initial capital ($100) multiplied by the return the Masaniello matrix allows with those parameters and an 86 % payout. Change any value in the calculator to see the new target instantly.
